Little Robin Red Breast
We arrived home late after a ministry trip to Washington and Oregon. That night I had a dream. In my dream it seemed the enemy was in our home and fear griped my heart. The first thing I did is start to pray "Jesus" over and over. But the fear did not leave. Then I started to pray, "Greater is he that is in me then he that is in the world". Still the fear did not leave. Then I began to plead the blood of Jesus and the fear vanished. The dream woke me up. I sat up in bed. I sensed a peace in our home that only God can provide. While I sat there I had a vision. In that vision I looked out my window and there was a Red Robin sitting in a tree. When the vision was over a nursery rhyme came to my mind. Remember the rhyme about Little Robin Red Breast. Little Robin Red breast sitting in a tree, up came a pussy cat, down came he. I said, "Lord what is this all about?" He spoke to my spirit saying, "The robin's wings redeemed the bird in the rhyme. In the same way, the blood of Jesus Christ is your redemption."
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. John 10:10 (NKJV)
The life spoken about in this verse was purchased with the Blood of Jesus. With this life we can fly away from our old sinful life and into the freedom of Christ. Jesus offered his blood so that we can use it against the enemy.
